Biography

I am something of a scientist myself.

Shuhao Liu received his B.Eng. degree from Department of Automation, Tsinghua University, China, in 2012. He received his Ph.D. degree in 2019 from University of Toronto, Canada, where he was a member of iQua research group under supervision of Prof. Baochun Li. He is currently a senior research scientist at Shenzhen Institute of Computing Sciences (SICS). His research interests include system security and privacy, systems for big data analytics, and computer networks.

I am something of a software engineer myself.

In summer 2018, he worked as a software engineering intern on NetInfra team of Google Cloud in Sunnyvale, California. He has been appreciating the three-month internship experience ever since.

He loves to learn all kind of new technologies, and he always dreams to develop one piece of software than can change the industry. He finds coding interesting and his favorite editor is Vim.

I enjoyed my life, a lot.

In leisure time, Shuhao plays and watches basketball games a lot. He is a die-hard NBA fan who loves Steve Nash, Brandon Roy, Klay Thompson and Stephen Curry. Movies and photography are also his favorites.
